WESH is reporting that Brad Conway will be leaving the Anthony circus for a higher calling. The specifics of that calling are not known at this time, but as long as the call didn’t come from Cindy Anthony or Jose Baez, we can rest assured it is, indeed, a higher one. The WESH article states that according to sources the events that led to Conway exiting right (literally) involve Mark NeJame’s latest Response to the Response to the Motion against the Order that came from the Motion twice filed, three times modified and never quite understood where the defense tried to get their mitts on all 4000 volunteer searchers’ names and contact information so they can Kronk a new, or multiple new, person and/or persons. All I know is if there is one more volley in this paper badminton game, they’ll need page 1 reserved just for the title of the motion.
In NeJame’s response he pretty much calls BS on everything Baez and Mason claim in their response. In this latest War of the Rosewoods document NeJame outright declares Baez the Uber-liar De jure and maybe even du jour! Which, by the way, either one would be quite an accolade to give anyone who is competing against Cindy Anthony….no matter what day of the week it is. Here’s where the problem seems to begin in this particular document that leads to the Anthonys being “lawyerless” again. Cindy (dragging George a few lines below her name as always) sent a letter to Mark NeJame on February 12, 2010 saying something akin to “I don’t like you…here’s why. Take backs on that waiver of conflict of interest. Here’s why.” The “here’s why” on the take backs was that, according to Cindy-triple-return-key-George, is that it was all predicated on NeJame and Miller helping them and letting them review the TES documents.
Of course, “Rosebud” sent a copy to Baez as well, because we all know what Cindy’s priorities are – get Casey off the hook for not murdering the not-dead Caylee that Cindy put an elaborate memorial on for and Cindy used to wear around her neck in dead-people jewelry but now that Cindy is pushing the “Caylee is not dead” story doesn’t wear anymore because she’s afraid that if she encounters a single interviewer who actually knows how to formulate a hard question she may not be able to answer “so whose dead body are you wearing around your neck???”
So Mark NeJame, in response to Baez’s last Nickelodeon-whinerville-document which was replete with…no case law, but that shouldn’t surprise anyone….and a whole lot of insults and accusations…which also shouldn’t surprise anyone, did something unimaginable to the defense. He actually went and talked to somebody and got confirmation on something before putting it in a legal document. That somebody was Brad Conway who verified what Mark NeJame had already stated in an email response to Cindy after receiving her aforesaid Cindy-linebreak-linebreak-linebreak-George letter saying she wanted her waiver back. What Brad Conway verified was that there never were any stipulations to the waiver of conflict of interest allowing Mark NeJame to represent Tim Miller and Texas Equusearch. What Brad Conway verified is that Tim Miller and Mark NeJame allowing him unrestricted access to review the TES documents on behalf of Cindy-drop-down-three-lines-George was an absolutely separate gesture by Miller and NeJame and had nothing to do with the waiver.
Which makes Baez Liar de jure and Liar du jour.
And puts Brad Conway in a very uncomfortable position. And I’m sure we’ll end up hearing two different versions of who left who, just like we’ve now heard concerning the break up between NeJame and Cindy. After all, no one leaves Cindy. You know, like one of my favorite scenes from Armageddon when the astronomer, Karl, who has just discovered the huge asteroid that is about to annihilate the Earth is talking to Billy Bob Thornton’s character, Dan.
Karl: Sir, I’m retired navy, I know all about classified. But one more thing. The person that finds her gets to name her right?
Dan: Yes-yes that’s right, that’s right.
Karl: I wanna name her Dottie after my wife. She’s a vicious life-sucking bitch from which there is no escape.
Anywho….I suggest you not be surprised when Cindy claims she rolled Brad to the curb after he “betrayed” her….by, of all things, telling the truth.
Meanwhile, this explains why Cindy and George have appeared – unfettered by the presence of Brad Conway – on various news stations in the past week purveying their putrescence to all the “interviewers” out there who like to ask questions in a syrupy, patronizing, “oh my goodness you are so delicate” kind of way, and who allow them to continue to just blather their ridiculous statements over the airwaves. This, of course, is for ratings but television news agencies and cable news networks are so far behind the learning curve they don’t realize that this pathetic display of “non-journalism” and circus acts which consist of nothing but two white elephants balancing on balls of unasked questions bound together by unchallenged asinine statements that defy logic does nothing to further ratings but instead drives the ever-fleeing, internet-bound populace further underground and online. If they air many more of these gut-twisting non-interviews they risk causing a mass conversion of flatscreen TV’s across the nation to nothing but expensive wallpaper viewers randomly shuffling pictures of peaceful nature scenes with a background of whale noises and/or new-age meditation music.
WESH reports that NBC has put out an advisory that Brad Conway will be on the Today Show this morning. Maybe someone will ask him a hard question. I bet if they do he answers it honestly.
