It is with a very sad heart I report that Kay has received confirmation that her dear son, Eric Dee Preimesberger, is dead. We received the message via the family just a bit ago:
Marcia here…Kay has asked that I post the following message: The children are safe. Thank you ALL for your awesome efforts! The search for Eric is over. It has been confirmed. Kay says, “My Baby is confirmed dead”. As we are authorized to do so, more info will be released. Again, Thank you all soooo very much! Thank you Val for this forum so these wonderful people can do what they do best.

Kay has become a member of our family here at The Hinky Meter. I know so many of you were praying for her to find her son alive. But as the story unfolded before us, we began to lose hope. This brave, loving and giving woman has now been given the worst news a parent can receive. Her baby boy is dead.
Thank you all for the assistance you so willingly provided Kay in getting flyers out, and assisting in pushing Eric’s story to the media for more coverage.
This thread will serve both as a place for all of us to leave our thoughts to Kay, Shantell (who also just lost her mother to cancer) and Marcia and the rest of Eric’s extended family who became our friends; and it will serve as a venue for Kay and the family to update us as they can.

I love you so much, you sweet, sweet lady. I wish we could take away the death and decay that robs us of our loved ones. I wish we could make this have a different outcome. I have come to know you have a deep, strong faith in God. I pray you are enveloped in the peace and mercy that can only come from Him.
Thank you for bringing me into your life. And thank you for who you are.
