Eric Preimesberger case: Kristi and the children remain unaccounted

Kristi Morgan Preimesberger and the children, Ivy and Damion, have still not been located.  Authorities in Washington state confirm they have not been seen since June 16th.  Wait a minute?  Did I just say Washington state? Yes, I did.  Kristi had not remained at the residence of Timothy Morgan, her brother, in Eugene, Oregon ever since she left Reno, Nevada shortly after her husband, Eric Dee Preimesberger, went missing.  Eric’s missing person case is still active and being worked by the robbery/homicide division of the Reno Police Department.

Contrary to what Karen, Kristi’s mother, has been led to believe, when Kristi left Reno at the end of April she only stayed at her brother’s home for a few weeks.  A week before Memorial Day weekend she arrived at the home of Eric’s stepsister in Vancouver, Washington.  Kristi had called Eric’s stepsister stating Eric was missing and she needed a place to stay.  She informed the stepsister that she could not go home to her mother, Karen, and that her brother was only able to put her and children up for a few weeks.  The stepsister invited her up.

There’s one period of time while Kristi stayed with the stepsister that she left for a couple of days stating she needed to return to her brother’s house to retrieve some things from her brother’s house.  When she returned she had a few plastic totes and a fishtank with Ivy’s goldfish.  When Kristi had first arrived at the stepsister’s home the stepsister and other relatives had gone and bought the children clothing because they didn’t hardly have any with them, and neither of them had shoes to wear.  While Kristi stayed at the house there were several times she would leave, allegedly just to run simple errands, and would be gone for several hours – leaving the children with the stepsister and family.  One particular instance was allegedly to get a cup of coffee – Kristi was gone for 3 hours and came back with a nonsensical excuse that everywhere she went to get coffee was closed, etc.

While at the stepsister’s home Kristi would appear to be coming down from something in the afternoon on several occasions.  While she told one relative she wasn’t taking drugs anymore, she told the stepsister she still was but that she was quitting because it was too expensive and she needed the money to take care of the children. It should be noted that the stepsister and other relatives were made to believe, by Kristi, that both her mother, Karen, and Eric’s mother, Kay, knew she was staying in Vancouver and that she planned to do so for the entire summer.

Kristi left on June 16th, leaving behind Ivy’s goldfish and telling the stepsister she was headed to her mother’s home in New Mexico.  The stepsister and other relatives in the Vancouver area have tried repeatedly to contact Kristi since she left but her cell phone goes immediately to voicemail.  On July 6th the Sheriff’s department of Clark County, Washington contacted the stepsister and took her statement because, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s department the stepsister is the last person to have seen Kristi and the children.  Contrary to prior reports, the Clark County Sheriff’s department states Kristi did not return to her brother’s home in Eugene, Oregon because Tim had already gone missing himself 2 days prior to June 16th.  The sheriff’s department confirmed that no one has physically seen Kristi, or the two children, since they left the stepsister’s home on June 16th.

Eric Dee Preimesberger remains missing since approximately April 20th, 2010.  Kristi’s stories concerning the last time she saw Eric are suspicious and changing.  In addition to needing to be returned to the Reno area to assist investigators in finding Eric, Kristi needs to be located for the protection of the two small children she has with her.  If you would like to print out flyers we have created here at The Hinky Meter containing descriptions of Eric, Kristi, Ivy and Damion, they are linked below.  If you have information on any of these missing people please contact the appropriate authorities as listed at the bottom of each flyer.

Valhall.
