Due to some confusion I am going to outline the timeline of events surrounding this alleged solicitation, reporting and meeting with Terri. According to The Oregonian report…
1. 6 to 7 months before Kyron went missing Terri Horman approached a local landscaper about a murder-for-hire plot against Kaine Horman.
2. The landscaper did not report this solicitation.
3. After Kyron went missing, LE began to review ALL individuals who had been on the Horman property in the past few months and discovered that Terri had hired a landscaper WITHOUT KAINE KNOWING ABOUT IT.
4. LE approached the landscaper who came clean on the solicitation.
5. LE then set up a meeting (either in person or by phone…unknown) on Saturday, June 26th, between the landscaper, an undercover agent and Terri Horman. Terri did not BITE…she apparently made no incriminating statement during this meeting and cut it short.
6. LE informs Kaine on Saturday the 26th of the murder-for-hire plot.
7. Kaine moves out with Kiara on the 26th.
8. Kaine files for divorce and obtains a restraining order.

The Oregonian is reporting that a local landscaper has told authorities Terri Horman approached him around 6 to 7 months before 7-year old Kyron Horman disappeared and offered money if he would kill her husband, Kaine Horman. It appears that authorities set up a wire-tapped meeting between the landscaper, Terri Horman and an undercover agent in which a brief conversation was recorded prior to Terri shutting down the discussion.
The article states authorities informed Kaine Horman of their findings on the murder-for-hire solicitation last weekend just prior to Kaine leaving the Horman residence with their 19-month old daughter Kiara. Within 2 days Kaine had filed for divorce and obtained a restraining order not only preventing Terri from being around Kaine or Kiara, but prohibiting Terri from acting in a parental role.
Detectives have confronted Terri Horman with the murder-for-hire allegation, but she has denied it so far.

Lots of things can be read different ways by different people. Reactions vary among people. Lifestyle differences can be hard to rectify when you see people act in a manner extremely different than what you believe your own reaction would be. Judgment becomes extremely subjective based on our own norms.
But I gotta say this…
“kill my husband” or “plant petunias over here”
That’s a big difference. In fact, I think we can all agree….that’s pert near suspicious!
