What is going on?
Palm Bay, FL:
Police say at least three men broke into the home on San Filippo Drive in Palm Bay just before 10:30pm Saturday. There were six children home alone, ranging from 10 months old to 15 years old, being babysat by the eldest, while their mother was at the hospital getting stitches for another child. “They said if we move, they’ll kill us,” the victim described.
The suspects began to threaten the children, armed with handguns, and burned the eldest teen girl with hot oil on the stove, all the while demanding cash that the suspects claimed the children’s uncle owed them.
“He had her hands on the stove and all of her fingers were burned and then they poured hot oil down her back,” said Ann, the victim’s grandmother.
The 15-year-old’s mother and sibling returned from the hospital in the middle of the home invasion.
“She saw her door was kicked in and she said they stuck a gun in her face and just said, ‘Come on in,’” Ann said.
The mother was burned, as well, and is at the bedside of her daughter at Arnold Palmer Hospital.

Oklahoma City, OK:
A wheelchair-bound Oklahoma City man was severely burned after he was set on fire during a home invasion.
Police say three armed and masked men talked their way into the home in northeast Oklahoma City about 1:30 a.m. Monday. The men demanded money then tied the man with electrical cord and set him on fire.
I truly don’t understand.
