I was asked to perform the same calculations for August 11th, when Roy Kronk made his first phone call reporting something suspicious. For this analysis I kept all parameters the same. I also remained consistent in that I took the rainfall for the 14 days preceding August 11th. The total rainfall for that period was 1.01 inches. That would have filled the basin to 4.22 inches of water, including run-off. It takes 9.6 inches of water depth for the water to raise to the next topographical level. The following two graphs show the difference between August 11th, 2008, and September 1st, 2008.
August 11, 2008 – Caylee’s Remains would not have been submerged
September 1, 2008 – Caylee’s Remains would have been under 1-3/4′ of water
