I just began reading your web site. You have done an enourmous amount of work, and have done an awesome job. I'm now reading all your entries. (Thank heavens I'm a teacher and have a little time on my hands). My question to you is: Is there any way that Baez can be disbarred? I have followed this case from the start, and can not believe the verdict. Baez has continually been dishonest, from keeping investigators from questioning his client (on abuse), to witness tampering, lying in his opening statements, his lack of information (required) to the prosecution on his "experts", etc., etc., etc. I now feel that there is almost no way that 12 people plus the alternates can basically come up with the same (un) reasons for their verdict , so quickly. Believing that they are not a pile of rocks- I'm thinking jury tampering. Is there any thing that we can do??? thank you...and keep up the great work.

Mimi,

I'm assuming you're talking about the Timeglider timeline? I hope it's working now. Maybe their server was down or something. Let me know if it continues to not work for you, so that I can try to figure out what the problem is.

I can't get into the timeline although it was a breeze last week to see it. I couldn't finish it all in a day and thought I'd come back and read more. Is it still available?

lily,

I'm glad it is working well. Part of the reason the darned thing isn't finished yet is I get terribly exasperated when trying to work with it. Maybe it behaves better in view mode. At some point I will get the rest of the ping data entered in it. I believe I got hung up on July 3rd when I just gave up for a while. For those of us who are "visual learners" I think it can be helpful. It was to me.

Val - the timeline works great on my Mac - and it hits my brain on the right level (visually and probably simplistic!) ha! You can almost get a feel for the calm before the storm, the panic and then the dodging that went on in her mind just by watching the spikes and lulls in the different types of activity. Thanks so much for the work you put into this - and sharing! I will be looking at this for a while - maybe with the other screen filled with some pertinent artwork and a little Strauss in the background. Sounds like a macabre weekend Yikes. Again, many thanks.

Dear Silver,

Welcome and thank you very, very much for your kind words. I hope you will come back and share more from your perspective because I think we can all learn so much from your point of view and application of experience.

I look forward to reading your thoughts on these issues in the future!

Valhall-

I have been an admirer of your work on this case for quite some time. Your time line, which I originally located on abovetopsecret.com, of which I am otherwise not a fan due to the conspiracy theory content, is superior to all others, by a long shot.

The well researched and thoughtfully crafted entries you have posted here on the case are truly top notch.

I have only ever posted at one other site, but felt compelled to join the chorus of admiration directed your way.

The reason I originally posted on the case --after spending numerous hours reviewing witness statements/interviews, etc-- was to express my considered opinion (as an attorney with close to two decades of litigation/trial experience) regarding the involvement and potential charges against/culpability of the other family members for obstruction of justice and/or as accessories after the fact to this horrific, premeditated, murder of a 34 month old baby girl.

Despite the fact that it is not evidence which can be used to prove her culpability for the murder of her child, I was fascinated by your piece on the fine art that Casey viewed privately. The fact that she was taking time to view those paintings is telling, and particularly so when coupled with not only the "Diary of Days" poem you also referenced, but additionally when one also recalls that Sevendust song ( "The Past"--with the lyric, "Beneath the water that's falling from my eyes, Lays a soul I've left behind" ) she played incessantly (per Tracey M) after Padilla bonded her out of jail, and then, too, the June 21st diary entry:

I have no regrets, just a bit worried. I just want for everything to work out okay.

I completely trust my own judgment & know that I made the right decision. I just hope that the end justifies the means.

I just want to know what the future will hold for me. I guess I will soon see — This is the happiest that I have been in a very long time.

I hope that my happiness will continue to grow — I’ve made new friends that I really like. I’ve surrounded myself with good people — I am finally happy.

Let’s just hope that it doesn’t change.

For a woman who has famously claimed that she will not confess, Casey's personal writings and viewings are laced with irony, because they are nothing less than admissions of a guilty conscience (though I do not believe that they are, by any stretch of the imagination, expressions of remorse for what she has done).

I must admit that I am far more interested in Cindy and George Anthony with respect to the crime/the attempted obstruction of the investigation.

Looking forward to reading what you have to share with respect to their "personal moments" (as my own opinions as based entirely on their LE interviews, media statements, sworn deposition testimony, all of which continue to morph into a Byzantine labyrinth of lies).

On your splendid body of work, I cheer, "BRAVA!" (as though I was at the Met to see, once again, the Dance of the Seven Veils from "Salome" by Strauss) (many interpretations of how Casey viewed herself can be gleaned from "The Apparition" alone).

Good morning - this could explain what Casey meant in the jail video when she stated to Cindy - 'Don't worry, I didn't say anything'

LOL, Valhall! I believe the reason for Baez to keep Casey away from her family is not because he's afraid Casey will talk but that Cindy will.
